For our next Summer Spotlight, we travel to Katy, TX to see what our phriend, David Cohen, has been up to so far this summer!
David has been enjoying some much-needed time off from school (other than online summer classes), playing a LOT of the new Legend of Zelda game, Tears of the Kingdom. He has also been spending a lot of time with his ten-year old mini goldendoodle, Cooper!
Throughout the past three weeks, David has been bouncing back from a playing injury he got at the end of this past school year, returning to a more regular practice schedule on trombone, as he begins working towards post-graduate studies in trombone. He is very excited to return to the College of Music in August, and is especially excited to begin playing in large ensembles again!
This week, David returned to Life Time Summer Camp, a day camp for 5-12 year old children. While he is not spending the entire summer working at the camp, he has enjoyed working with the new and returning campers, as well as the new and returning counselors. Within the next couple of weeks, David will transfer to a job that he can bring with him back to Denton when he returns to school in August. Best of luck in both jobs, David!
We miss you, David, and hope your summer continues to go well! Tomorrow is David’s 21st birthday, so make sure to wish him a happy birthday!
Stay tuned to the blog as we continue checking in with our phamily throughout the summer! GMG, and Mu Phi For Life!
